My life’s journey has been marked with periods of atheism, agnosticism and a complete indifference to spiritual things. In 1988, at age 36, my sister led me down “Roman’s Road”, had me repeat a prayer and proclaimed me “saved”. 15 years later, my increasingly wicked lifestyle finally convinced me that something wasn’t right— that I couldn’t possibly be a Christian. Unable to fix my situation myself, it was then that, I truly cried out to the Lord in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. I had just lived 15 years as a classic example of a false convert! I came to that stunning realization years later, after I was introduced to materials from Ray Comfort and Living Waters.

One of Ray’s books in particular, World Religions in a Nutshell, set me on a path of evangelism. Long story short, this tiny Reader’s Digest-sized book impressed upon me how straightforward evangelism could be. I discovered how God’s Moral Law and the Holy Spirit’s conviction of the conscience really simplified the task of sharing my faith. Suddenly, I didn’t need to be a subject-matter expert on world religions. Evangelism became instantly doable and simple— so simple, even a caveman like me could do it!

I am now happily married, and equally yoked, to my ministry partner, Rosie, who was also trained in the Way of the Master, before we met. In 2010, we inherited an existing evangelism outreach ministry, in Las Vegas, and renamed it Truth 4 Las Vegas (T4LV), for obvious reasons!

Rosie and I recently moved to S.W. Idaho and are now members of Montana Avenue Baptist Church in Caldwell, which is pastored by a Master’s Seminary graduate. PTL, after more than 10 years of continuous evangelism outreach ministry in Las Vegas, T4LV was rebirthed as Truth 4 USA (T4USA)!
