About

The "Day the Lord has made."

The Lord has been very kind to me by showing me His steadfast love and His abundant mercy.  At one time I was surely an enemy of God as I loved my sin and hated the Lord. Today because of His grace, I am His friend.

To me this GOSPEL was  FOOLISHNESS. I had heard John 3:16 but being blinded by sin and the god of this world, it made no sense to me. I thought that if God is so powerful and mighty, why then can He not just snap His fingers and make everything right, why would Christ need to die? It was as I said to me, "FOOLISHNESS" because I was perishing.  1 Corinthians 1:18

Then around thirty years of age, I heard the LAW and GOSPEL preached and I believed. I saw my SIN and how vile it is before the Lord and that I deserved His WRATH and CONDEMNATION.

The GOSPEL that I once hated because I loved my sin, the GOSPEL I once saw as FOOLISHNESS became beautiful to me, in fact, it became the "POWER OF GOD" to me.  I understood that Christ had died in my place, that "without the shedding of blood there was no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22

I remain amazed to this day that I am His. I love evangelizing and often feel like I just believed when I tell others all that Christ had done. The Lord is so kind.

I live in Montgomery Alabama with my amazing wife.  We have four children and 4 grandchildren.  We are members of Morningview Baptist Church where I serve as an active deacon.

The Lord has allowed me to be an evangelist as a vocation since 2014 where I have spent a majority of that time doing ministry outside our local abortion facility.

The abortion mill has helped me to learn to love Christ more, His word, and His people. To practice humility and to love my enemies.

Not to expect people to do the right thing, and to keep the main thing the main thing, give people Jesus Christ.

I have been a Team Leader with SFOI at two Super Bowl Outreaches ,1 Nashville Grand Prix Outreach, and been on several outreaches with them.

Leading teams or just being on one are always amazing as fellowship with like-minded saints is better than gold. It is a joy to gather with them and to serve them.

As always, the Lord is kind.

David Day.
