The travel dates for the World Cup mission trip are set: Friday, June 18 – Sunday, June 27, 2010.
The present cost is $3,000 per person which includes airfare, accommodations & travel within the country.

Kentucky Derby Weekend ‘10

The Kentucky Oaks & Kentucky Derby ‘10 will be held Friday, April 30 & Saturday, May 1st respectively.
Lodging is at The Legacy Center. Ministry begins each day at 8:00 AM & ends at 2:00 PM.
Confederations Cup

SFOI is departing for Johannesburg, South Africa June 14th for an historic trip to proclaim Christ at the Confederations Cup
for 8 days. The Cup is a preliminary event to next year’s World Cup. We are meeting several local brothers to minister with them this year & to make preparations for next June’s nationwide event: the 2010 World Cup.
The cost to go is $2,500 which covers your airfare, accommodations & one meal per day. World Cup 2010

The biggest sporting event on the planet is the quadrennial World Cup. The next one is located in South Africa & SFOI is planning to be there. We went to the one in Germany in 2006 & just returned from the Euro Cup, a preliminary World Cup event, in Austria in June.
Kentucky Derby Outreach '09
Kentucky Derby weekend is from Thursday, April 30 – Sunday, May 3, 2009. There are two days of outreach at Churchill Downs: Friday for the Kentucky Oaks & Saturday for the Kentucky Derby.
Friday & Saturday’s outreaches begin at 8:00 AM & end at 6:00 PM. It’s an intense time of ministry that occurs between 4th & Central
and 4th & Oakdale Avenue at Churchill Downs.
Accommodations are at Southern Seminary’s Legacy Center. The $400 trip cost covers the overnight accommodation cost only. (If you have a roommate the cost is $250).
Outreach Schedule:
Thursday: 5:00 PM Registration at Legacy Center. 6:00 PM dinner at Legacy Center.
Friday, May 1: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Churchill Downs.
Saturday, May 2: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Churchill Downs.
