As a preacher and teacher of God’s word, you play a critical role in proclaiming the word of God and persuading your audience. We understand that preparing sermons can be a challenging task, but with the right tools and guidance, it can also be an incredibly rewarding experience.

The workshop will take place over 12 weeks and consist of 8 instructional sessions and 4 small group sessions.

In this workshop, as an open-air preacher, you will:

• Receive expert instruction from seasoned preachers.

• Examine a text to determine its primary focus and point.

• Recognize the functions of various text types so that you can understand and analyze the Bible as a whole.

• Steer clear of preaching if a minor point is not the main point; recognizing what God intended in a passage.

• Apply what you've learned to biblical texts through interactive, hands-on examples and small group sessions.
