New York Outreach - World Cup Qualifying & World Cup Finals Overview. By the grace of God Jesus, a team of 12 evangelists in total participated in outreaches around the New York qualifying matches near the Stadium and on the stadium grounds, and at the World Cup Finals outreach in New York City. Stadium / Qualifying Outreach: ∼2,000 tracts distributed. Finals Day - NYC Outreach: ∼6,500 - 7,000 tracts distributed. Total Estimated: 8,500 - 9,000 tracts. Locations Covered: 1. Stadium Area (Qualifying Matches): We covered the perimeter areas and grounds around the stadium. Police did not permit distribution directly in front of the main gate areas, even though we were on public space. We honored their request and covered other sections of the stadium grounds. 2. New York City - Finals Day (Midtown Manhattan): We divided into teams and covered 4 major watch party locations and surrounding areas: - Rockefeller Center - Times Square - 6th Avenue - Near Central Park and other areas throughout Midtown after the games. Gospel Encounters - Response was very encouraging, especially among the young people who were very excited to take tracts. - While many declined, we are thankful for everyone who did take one. - Had personal one-to-one conversations with about 20 people. - Received a lot of encouragement from fellow believers who saw us sharing and thanked us for being out. - Several meaningful conversations with Muslims.

One man took tracts and told us he loves Jesus and asked for a few more to share with his friends. Additional Outreach: As part of our family trip, we were also able to distribute a few World Cup-themed tracts in Athens, Greece and on the Island of Malta. Challenges & Protection: For the most part, police were stationed right next to us but had no objections to our sharing. At the stadium, one of our team members was threatened with being taken into custody near the main gate area. We politely told the officer we would stop distributing at that specific location and moved on. Apart from that, the outreach went smoothly without any major hindrance. Thanksgiving: Overall, we are deeply thankful to The Lord Yehovah for His safety, protection, and open doors throughout the entire trip.
