Want to share the blessing I received with you today. Everett preach today at Purdue for the first time ever. I was in the middle of preaching and I was in one of those modes I could have preach for 8 hours straight. Everett looked at me and ask me can I preach. I quickly wrapped my thought up and turn it over to him. I prayed over him and God Holy Spirit worked through him mightily. He started off reading Romans 1 but then continued through much of Romans. He then started giving the sense of the scripture to the people passing bye, he brought questions, he brought applications, he brought the gospel, he exhort people to respond and brought a conclusion. I was amazed. But why? The same Holy Spirit that works in all of us is the same working in him as well. So I should not of been surprised. You would have thought he been in a class on hermeneutics and homiletics. I been pouring into him over the last year and praying with him. I don’t know if I can say I have truly discipled him in anyway but I have invested time into him, model out the Christian life before him and he is growing tremendously. He is connected with brothers in Christ at Purdue and it is showing. He preach over a hour today and many people responding to the preaching, whether positively or negatively. People were hearing and it had an effect. What a blessing. When he first started a man stopped instantly and listened at least for 20 minutes. He was a believer. His name was David. He said he couldn’t help but to stop what he was doing and listen. It was powerful. The Holy Spirit was speaking through Everett. What a blessing today.

Was able to pass out about 250 tracts this week. I was blessed this week with a good reception, with most taking tracts. I was able to witness seeing 2 young boys with one reading the track I handed them to the other and this opened the door for more conversation later during my time there.

We preached about 45 minutes and passed tracts for several hours. We had 5 good dialogues with individuals and got out 270 tracts.

Jerardo Ibarra - NRG Stadium

We were blessed to have four men at the outreach. Smaller than usual, which limited our coverage at the game. We got out some tracts, but not as many as usual. The crowd was a little testy as it was a night game and a little more drunkenness. The gospel was proclaimed and had an amazing engagement with two men in their car, looking for parking

Pray for us as the gospel is proclaimed at NC State this afternoon. The Brickyard at NC State is being lit up with the gospel today. What a great Band of Brothers making Jesus known.
