Evangelist who joined: Roger McKinley

I had a very good conversation with a man named JR who was dressed up in a Jesus costume. He claimed to be an atheist, and after talking with him for a few minutes he admitted he was more agnostic and non-theistic.

His demeanor changed and he opened up about his wife Jennifer's stroke, and how he had grown up catholic. I also had a chance to encourage one of the local police officers who admitted he had been listening to the preaching. Roger was able to join me in preaching and tract distribution which was an answer to prayer. Glory to God.

Today's evangelism was at the Columbus Crew MLS game as a part of Sports Fan Outreach #sfoi. Lots of Spiritual warfare, and many attacks; I arrived late, I was by myself, my amp wouldn't work, I didn't bring my step stool, and feeling somewhat depressed in general.

One man said "I'd rather die" when I offered him a tract. Several children who wanted to take tracts were quickly jerked away by their mothers. I only had maybe 2-3 fans out of thousands who indicated they had some form of Christian belief. Nevertheless, the negativity aside, I was able to hand out several hundreds tracts in perfect weather, and one bright spot was getting to see my friend Randy Jones who ministers to the homeless and was having physical pain and depression himself.

After praying for healing for him I felt him twitch and his spirit seemed to revive. He thanked me and said I really made his day. I told him all glory goes to God.  It gave me just enough Spiritual energy to get through the outreach. Glory to God.

I was solo today, but had an enjoyable day of ministry. I gave out around 50 or so tracts and prayed with 4 people. A guy and girl with Red Bull were handing out free Red Bull's and so I traded a Gospel tract for a free Red Bull. I had no interest in energy drinks, so rather than just give it away the Lord gave me the idea to turn it into a springboard. "Whoever is brave enough to take the good person test gets this free Red Bull!"

I found a willing participant named Parker and went through the ten commandments with him. Afterwards I observed him watching the preaching from a distance. I spoke with my homeless ministry friend Randy, and another guy named John played a cahon (drum) the entire time I was there. I was tempted to be annoyed with his playing but decided to strike up a convo with him. He said his goal was $100. I asked if I could pray with him for that and he agreed. Later, the Lord gave me the idea to join his drum playing. "What would Hip Hop Doc Do?" (Shoutout to Bill Schank). So I started rapping "Repent and believe the Gospel!" repeatedly to his drum beats.

Evangelist who joined: Luke Bryant

Today's evangelism was at the Columbus Crew MLS home game with #sfoi1000. Luke joined me and did the good person test with a signboard, and we gave out lots of tracts and preached open air. Please pray for a homeless lady named Tyler (spelling?) that Luke prayed with, a 5 gallon bucket drummer named John that I prayed with, a man named Leon that Luke knew, and a young guy named Christopher who read a tract and I prayed with after he was finished reading, and I  shared the Gospel in the prayer. Thankful for my dad Larry giving me transportation to and from the event to save on gas, parking, and help me not get wet! Thankful for our local church who has been so encouraging asking about and praying for our time. The prayers were felt! Glory to God.

Luke joined me for first time and he and I preached open air, gave out a lot of tracts, and used a signboard with the good person test. Lots of good conversations, and prayed with a couple people.

I gave out around 50 tracts, and preached open air to a smaller crowd walking in the rain. I talked with a man named Randy who collects donations every week for the homeless all over Columbus, OH. I asked how I could pray for him, he said he was a Christian but did not have a church home. Later when I was just about to leave he walked over to me and said he wanted to bless me and handed me a $20 bill. I also saw 3 people stand and read a tract for at least several minutes.

Evangelist who joined: Rafael Bagirov Kofi (Rafael's friend), SK (member of Pastor King's church)

Besides the typical responses, one man yelled "why are you here??" and later, another man said "thank you for being here". I was joined by three new evangelists, SK (from Pastor King's church). This was his first time doing evangelism. He initially wanted to observe; he ended up handing out tracts. I was also joined by Rafael (whose dad was a local missionary) and his friend Kofi (Rafael also had two other friends handing out tracts elsewhere). After I preached, I asked Rafael, and he preached open air for the first time with amplification. God answered my prayer for more laborers!

Evangelist who joined: Isaac Bryant

Isaac and I handed out maybe 150 tracts and preached open air. I talked to one guy named Jacob who was not attending the game but wanted to see what all the people were doing. He was in town for a few days all the way from San Diego. He claimed to be a non-denominational Christian. He didn't talk much theology though, but when I started doing the good person test he admitted he was a sinner. I was able to get his contact info for follow up, (who has since contact me for info about SFOI and monergism). I also discovered through Jacob that there were some Scientologists handing out their cultic literature. I was about to wrap up the outreach, when a man named Mark walked up to us and requested prayer for his wife who wanted a divorce. I gave him a tract and told him I would pray for him on the spot but with his head down he said he had to get to the game. Glory to God.

Evangelist who joined: Pastor Ezhilarasan King, Isaac Bryant, Isaiah Richards

Had two new evangelists join Isaiah and I; Pastor Ezhilarasan King and Isaac Bryant. Isaiah held a small cross, and the rest of us preached open air and handed out lots of tracts; maybe over 200! Pastor King preached open air for the first time, praise God! Had a few hecklers; one of them who was somewhat tipsy said "I already know the Bible." I said, how many books are in the Bible? He said "12". I said no, there are more. He said, "I have all the books I need!" Glory to God

Evangelist who joined: Isaiah Richards

There were so many fans I was able to give out around 50 tracts at a perfect ministry location next to the stadium. Since more fans were still pouring into the stadium, I decided to preach open air, and I would say around 500 fans heard the Gospel. Around 10 or so men gave me fist bumps. All glory to the King of kings.
