Preach-A-Thon 2026

What is happening


Every year leading up to the Super Bowl Outreach, we have a Preach-A-Thon, where men come in early and preach the days leading up to the event in the city of the Super Bowl.


The Preach-A-Thon will begin on Monday, February 2, 2026 in San Fransisco, CA


This is not required to participate in the Super Bowl Outreach, but gives you an opportunity for additional days of preaching in the area by arriving a couple of days early to the Super Bowl Outreach City. The official Super Bowl Outreach does not officially begin until Thursday evening at 5:00 PM.


Additionally, you can join a partial Preach-A-Thon by just picking certain days.

To participate in the Preach-A-Thon make sure you are first registered for the SBO and then once your registration is approved email info@sfoi.org if you want to participate in the Preach-A-Thon.


You'll make a reservation and pay for the Preach-A-Thon once your email is acknowledged that it was received.

Dates for Preach-A-Thon

  • Monday, Feb 2 - Thursday, Feb 5, 2026
  • Monday Check-in at 3:00 PM.
  • Arrive Monday as soon as you can. 
  • Preaching begins at Noon Monday.
  • Ministry time 6 - 8 hours per day.

Cost for Preach-A-Thon

  • Cost for the Preach-A-Thon will be additional to the SBO cost and dependant on the # of nights you book at the Motel 6 Oakland CA - Embarcadero:
  • Anyone interested in participating in the Preach-A-Thon will need to contact Motel 6 at 1-800-544-4866 and make your own reservation and payment directly to Motel6.
  • Please state the following when making your reservation:
  • Group Confirmation number: 9379AJF483
  • Group Name: Preach-A-Thon
  • Motel 6 Location: Oakland CA - Embarcadero
  • Check in date: Feb 1 and check out date Feb 4
  • After stating the above information (the above 4 points are needed to find the booking on their system), then state your specific check in and check out dates.
  • Cost: $69.99 + tax per room per night with 2 queen beds - if you organize to share a room with someone, the cost would be shared.
