Game Summaries

9/24 - Game went well. We had 6 guys. Mike ,Michael, Eric, Diego, his son, and myself. Also ran into Thomas (friends with Tatsuo) with his giant sign pole and bullhorn. Took a picture together. We made plans to preach down at the Day of the Dead parade in Tucson next month.

Preached around 1.5 hours. Few hecklers, some good conversations. I had 2 really decent ones one with a group of girls and one who might have been a guy… But for the most part got the through the Gospel . Had another conversation with a young man that went really well. Really encouraged him to live for the Lord seemed like he might have been a believer. People overall seemed receptive to materials. Gave out quite a few of the Gospels of Mark. That is unusual. I do feel people respect the preaching. Crowds seemed lighter, it was warm. But we had no issue with the authorities. We preached from a little gravel bed and used a control box for a pulpit.

One the way to the stadium there wasn’t hardly anyone on the train but the on the way back there were. Got to preach on the train a little. Had a heckler but after we got off 2 guys shook our hands and thanked us for preaching.

September 1 -  Preached at the seasoner open for Arizona State University. Parked off campus and rode the light rail to the stadium. While on the light rail I was able to preach a little. Once we got to the stadium we set up at our usual spot at the south entrance. Mike Ford and I preached for almost a couple hours prior to the game until just after kickoff. The crowds were decent into the thousands. Had a number of hecklers but also some people who encouraged us. Was able to pass out some tracts and Gospels of Mark. Overall many heard the Gospel as they entered the stadium. One gentleman encouraged us saying that he has seen us out there for years and to keep up the good work. Praise the Lord!
